Our AGV utilizes a single high precision LiDAR sensor mounted on top of the vehicle to generate a real time 3D view of its surroundings. From this elevated position the sensor emits millions of laser pulses in all directions and accurately measures distances based on return time.
This top mounted configuration provides wide area coverage and an unobstructed perspective which enables our AGV to maintain reliable environmental awareness and operate safely and autonomously in all lighting conditions.
